Microsoft Office:- Microsoft
Office is an Office suite of desktop application. Initially it has set of
different Applications like- Microsoft Word, Microsoft
Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint Access, Outlook, One
Note, Other desktop applications, Server applications, Web services
etc. it will support on the platforms of Windows and Apple’s Operating System , Microsoft
has stated that it plans to create a version of Office for "other popular
platforms" as well. It was launched by Bill Gates on
1-Aug-1988, the first version of Office contained Microsoft
Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint. Over the
years, Office applications have grown substantially closer with shared features
such as a common spell checker, OLE data integration and Visual
Basic for Applications scripting language so now it has Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, One-note, Other
desktop applications, Server applications, Web services .Microsoft
also positions Office as a development platform for line-of-business software
under the Office Business Applications brand. The current versions
are Office 2013 for Windows. Microsoft announced that Microsoft
Office 2016 will be released in the second half of 2015.

Word
Microsoft Word is a word
processor considered the main program in Office. Its proprietary Document
format Which help us to designing of Notice, Circulars, Application, Letters,
Memos , Books, Notes, Advertisement, News Papers, Magazines, Documents etc.
Excel
Microsoft Excel is a spreadsheet program
It is used to create tables which arranges our data in row and column manner
with mathematical formulas and functions.
PowerPoint
Microsoft PowerPoint is a presentation
program for Windows and OS X. It is used to create slideshows,
composed of text, graphics, and other objects, which can be displayed on-screen
and shown by the presenter or printed out
on transparencies or slides.
Access
Microsoft Access is a database management
system for Windows that combines the relational Microsoft Jet Database
Engine with a graphical user interface and software-development tools.
Microsoft Access stores data in its own format based on the Access Jet Database
Engine. It can also import or link directly to data stored in other
applications and databases.
Outlook
Microsoft Outlook (not to be confused
with Outlook Express) is a personal information manager. The replacement
for Windows Messaging, Microsoft Mail,
and Schedule+ starting in Office 97, it includes an e-mail client,
calendar, and task manager and address book.
One Note
Microsoft One Note is
a freeware note taking program. It gathers notes (handwritten or
typed), drawings, screen clippings and audio commentaries. Notes can
be shared with other One Note users over the Internet or a network.
