MS Office 2007 [Save As]

                                                         SAVE AS

Save As:- Save As is the option where we can re save our document means, once we would save our document in any location with appropriate location but if we want save it with different location or same location with same name of different name then only we would use Save As button.

It has some other options these options are support our file to store in different locations.

1.)    Word Document: - We can save our Documents in default file format. So enter location and file name.

2.)  Word Template: - A template is a document type which was designed by someone to reuse the designed document we don’t need to redesign only we can put editing on that. A template can be a .dotx file, or it can be a .dotm file (a .dotm file type allows you to enable macros in the file).
Templates are exactly like documents in that you can provide recommended sections or required text for others to use, as well as content controls such as a pre-defined drop-down list or a special logo. You can add protection to a section of a template, or you can apply a password to the template to help protect the contents of the template from changes.
For example, a business plan is a common document that is written in Word. Instead of creating the structure of the business plan from scratch, you can use a template with predefined page layout, fonts, margins, and styles. All you have to do is open a template, and fill in the text and the information that is specific to your document. When you save the document as a .docx or .docm file you save your document separately from the template on which it is based.

3.)    Word 93- 2003 Document :- If we want to save our file in old versions  like 93 – 2003 then this Option would help to save data.

4.) Find Add ins- in other file formats: - PDF and XPS file formats. Word 2007 offers a free add-in to save or export this type of file, but you must first install the add-in before you can use it. Other third-party products may also be available to export a Microsoft Office file into a fixed-layout document.
Learn about PDF and XPS file formats
By using an add-in, you can save or export a file from your Microsoft Office program into the following formats:
·    Portable Document Format (PDF)   PDF is a fixed-layout electronic file format that preserves document formatting and enables file sharing. The PDF format ensures that when the file is viewed online or printed, it retains exactly the format that you intended, and that data in the file cannot be easily changed. The PDF format is also useful for documents that will be reproduced by using commercial printing methods.

XML Paper Specification (XPS)   XPS is a fixed-layout electronic file format that preserves document formatting and enables file sharing. The XPS format ensures that when the file is viewed online or printed, it retains exactly the format that you intended, and that data in the file cannot be easily changed.
