MsOffice2007(Open)

                                                  Open Button

When we have saved our file in side of folder with specified location for the purpose of re-usability then only one option will help which is OPEN Button.

If you want to open a file in Microsoft Office Word 2007, you have several options for how the file opens.

1.)    Keyboard shortcut To display the Open dialog box, press CTRL+O.2.)    Click the Microsoft Office Button and then click Open.3.)    In the folder list, locate and open the folder that contains the file.  4.)    In the Look in list, click the folder, drive, or Internet location that contains the file that you want to open. Note: - By default, the files that you see in the Open dialog box are only those files that are created by the program that you are using. For example, if you are using Microsoft Office Excel, you do not see files that are created by using Microsoft Office Word unless you click All Files in the Files of type box.

We can open the original file for editing, open a copy, or open the file as read-only, which prevents you from saving the file unless you save it by using another name.

o    Open   To open the file with full read-write access, click Open.
o    Open Read-Only   To open the file in a mode that prevents you from making changes to the file, click Open Read-Only.
o    Open as Copy   To create a copy of the file as you open it, click Open as Copy. Changes you make to the file are made to the copy and not to the original.
o    Open in Browser   To display the file in your Web browser, click Open in Browser.
o    Open with Transform   When you are opening an Extensible Markup Language (XML) file and you need to apply an Extensible Style sheet Language (XSL) Transformation file to the XML file, click.
o     Open with Transform and browse to the XSL file that you need.
o    Open and Repair   If a file has been damaged and you cannot open it by normal means, click Open and Repair to open the damaged file.
o    Show Previous Versions When you open a document in Microsoft Office Word 2007 that was created in Microsoft Office Word 2003, Word 2002, or Word 2000, Compatibility Mode is turned on and you see Compatibility Mode in the title bar of the document window. Compatibility Mode ensures that no new or enhanced features in Office Word 2007 are available while you are working with a document, so that people who are using previous versions of Word will have full editing capabilities.
o    Cancel   To go back to the program without opening a file, click Cancel.
Tools button help to open those word files which are store in some other computers or we can say those are in network computers.
So we can open stored files in network in two ways
1.)    To click Network Option and explore network connected PC’s which is in left panel of open dialog box and then select one PC and then select folder and click open button, Then we will get that folder completely on your own computer.

 2. To click Tools Button when we click on tools button than Map Network Drive option then select Drive and Browse the Folder and select the folder which we want to access from other Networked PC’s

This is all about open file if have any question so ask.
